These drives are designed to the unique “Plug-and-Forget” principle. It is so small that you can simply insert this into any USB port and just leave it there – ideal for adding more storage to any PC or laptop computer. When inserted, this drive only protrudes about 3mm from the USB port, which means it will never be in the way even when left in the USB socket permanently.

Are these USB InnoDisks Bootable?

i.e can they be used as an alternative to HDDs and SSD’s to boot up an O/S say Windows 7 or MAC OS X?

The drives are definately bootable. Just remember, it is your own system software (BIOS) that you need to be able to configure to boot from the removable drive. In some BIOS versions this is fairly easy – in others you really need to know what you are doing.
