The Cell Shock modules are excellent for a setup like this Conroe system. They are very flexible, both regarding to speed and timings, which makes it very easy to hit a good performance profile for both CPU and RAM when overclocking.

Absolute must for C2D

Allthough not well known, these Cell Shock Modules are very high end kit using the very best D9GX modules for the memory. I have 2GB and have them running my C2D6600 at 3.75mhz at 4-4-4-12 T2.

You are better off getting faster RAM then timimgs for C2D as intel chip rewquire better bandwidth as opposed to the AMD chip better timings.

10/10 Solid as a rock on my P35 Asus chipset.

YES, YES, YES-----My CELLS are in SHOCK !!! AWESOME !!!

I had to replace my Corsair 8888C4 Dominator memory do to silicone degradation failure caused by constant 2.4 Volts. Of the $600.00+ I received back from Corsair, I decided to try the Cell Shock DDR2 1000 modules. With my refund I could have bought THREE sets of Cell Shock! They are rated the same 4-4-4-12 timings as the Corsair, however the Corsair had trouble with anything other than Spec settings. Lowering the voltage to 2.1-2.2 Volts simply would not work. The Cell Shock are 2.1-2.3 Volts straight out of the box. So--how are they? These Cell Shock 2 x 1GB modules are the best I have ever owned. They are SOLIDLY built, being bolted together. Right now I am running at 4-3-3-10 @2.1V. I'll try 3-3-3 later. It works solidly with my Nvidia 680i board AND my Intel X38 board. Everest Latency reports 56.8ns--that is almost scary! There is a new player in town! In my 18+ years of building systems, this memory reminds me of the old Mushkin. It is the best memory available--PERIOD! BITTE SHONE, MemoryC!

OC unstable, only works @ stock

I had 2gb of this for a while and could only manage 1050mhz out of them, I recently added another 2gb and the OC went unstable and now i'm running them @ 999mhz ( basically stock) , anything else just won't work even with them @ 5-5-5-15.

It might be my board that's the weak link in the OC , my CPU is an E6700 @ 3.33ghz (was @ 3.50ghz until the 4gb of ram upgrade and I had to lower it because the memory wouldn't work!)

Shocking performance (In the positive :))

Owning this RAM had been a dream for me since quite a while (as Jakob can concur.) And finally this came true. AND I cannot stress enough, this is the best RAM Kit to own for this price. And this is a disguised PC6400 CL3 kit. Can easily run 3-3-3- timings at only 2.2V. Something which more expensive RAM kits struggle to deliver at such low volts.

One word "Awesome!"

Highly impressive performance, a overclockers friend.

Great performance and quality...

I can't fault this RAM. It is capable of tight timings at high speeds and doesn't need excessive voltage to do so. The finish of the product is second to none, you can't see it in the picture, but the heatspreaders are actually bolted together and use thermal paste instead of the silly putty/spring clip that most manufacturers use... For the first time ever I can say these heatspreaders actually do what they are supposed to. As if that isn't enough these modules are cheaper than equivalent RAM from more well known manufacturers. 10/10

Awesome product

First ever purchase from memory-configurator and I must say amazing experience. Everything was a smooth experience from the time I ordered to when the product was received. Thumbs up to memory-config for an excellent service and user experience.
