We are pleased to recommend the aXeRam Series of overclocking memory from Transcend. While Transcend are not known for manufacturing high-performance memory for gaming and overclocking, these aXeRam memory upgrade modules really do stand the test - they are an excellent choice for gamers and overclockers alike. As with all aXeRam kits, this PC2-8500 memory kit is equipped with aluminium heatspreaders.

The TX1066QLU-4GK consists of 2pcs 2GB DDR2 SDRAM module. The 2GB module is a 256M x 64bits DDR2-1066 Un-buffered DIMM. The 2GB module consists of 16 pcs 128Mx8bits DDR2 SDRAMs in 60 ball FBGA packages and a 2048 bits serial EEPROM on a 240-pin printed circuit board. The 2GB module is a Dual In-Line Memory Module and is intended for mounting into 240-pin edge connector sockets.

After I installed this product to my mainboard (ASUS M3A78-CM), it was automatically detected by the bios as DDR2-800 mhz, CPU-Z, however, detected the correct SPD settings. Then, after setting the bios to the indicated timings and voltage, my PC boot-up without any problem. I got 7.2 User Experience index for this memory from Windows 7 RC, ...sweet. I highly recommend this product.

Running it on an Asus P5Q-Deluxe at default timings (5-5-5-15 & 55 Trfc) and frequency (well 1057MHz), but with 1.9V, no problems whatsoever. Strongly recommended.
What the price includes but is not shown in the description, is MemoryC's fantastic service, should you ever need it

After two terribly long week, "aXes" finally arrived to me. One of the best looking and THE best 4GB kit I have ever see in my long hardware career. Overclocks great and do not get warm much, and the price is very very popular.

i just bought 4GB Transcend aXeRam DDR2-1066 Before these I had bought 4GB OCZ DDR2 PC2-8000 Platinum XTC which was realy bad. Anyway, about transcend, this kit clocks really easy at 1187. The truth is that at 4 giga, this number is really-really great. Very glad buying these kit. But as all products, you should be and a little lucky to fall on good chips. Mine wear elpida. I am sure 100% that I can do above 1200. Excellent
