This type of memory upgrade is designed for new laptop or notebook computers, as the majority of new laptops released today use DDR2 memory. The DDR2 SO-DIMM upgrade modules have 200 pins and are available in 512Mb, 1GB, 2GB and 4GB capacities. In addition we also sell DDR2 SO-DIMM as Dual Channel kits. Each dual channel kit consists of two matched modules for the best possible performance upgrade in dual core laptops. Dual kits are available in 2GB and 4GB capacities.
DDR2 laptop memory is currently available in speed from 533MHz to 800MHz, and in CAS latency CL4 and CL5. The standards available in this memory upgrade category are: PC2-4200 (DDR2-533), PC2-5300/PC2-5400 (DDR2-667).
