Recognized Immediately
The memory stick was recognized immediately when it was installed. The only problem is that the machine was operating with 512MB at 400MHz, but the installation of another 512MB that was supposed to work at 400Mhz mad the computer operate at 333MHz, so I have gained memory but lost a little in Bus speed. Perhaps this is a natural occurrence.
