Just installed the drivers from the supplied disk and let Windows 8.1 handle the rest. It works well and appears to have a good range. No problems with it.

This wifi adapter is simple to use, for Windows and even simpler on Linux. Just install the Win Driver on the accompanying disk or simply plug in for Linux and away you go. If your wireless router is wireless N capable then enjoy Tx rates of up to 72 MB/s! Well worth the price tag and breathe new life into older PCs and laptops. Works with Raspberry PI too.
