good product to improve your eeepc 901.
first, update your bios.
then connect the ssd to the usb link (included).
the acronis software "clone disk" is included and effective.
the screwdriver (also included) in hand, you can start !

Works real good in EeePc 901XP

I used this SSD to replace the 4Gb "C" drive of my EeePc 901XP.
The replacement was not difficult with this manual: http://www.kvdepeddelaars.nl/ssd.pdf
It is in Dutch, but the photo's explain all.

One warning: update your Bios to the latest version first. With my older Bios 1101, the system did not recognise the new SSD. After the BIOS update everything works fine.
I did the BIOS update with the the program "Asus Update" that is pre-installed on my 901XP.

With Acronis I cloned my old "C" drive to the Runcore before the replacement. A cable to do that is in the box.

Three Steps:
1) BIOS update (if necessary)
2) Make a clone of the old drive on your new Runcore. You can also skip this step and do a clean new Windows installation.
3) Open your EeePC 901XP and install your Runcore.

Your system is a lot faster now.

Just installed one of these into an Eee PC 901 as the primary hard disk. Worked first time, no hacks required.
