Perfect for PS3
MemoryC and Delivery aside (because they were abysmal) the HDD works like a dream for the PS3 (which is why I bought it) and you can buy with confidence if you are thinking of this item for that purpose.
A simple switch with the current HDD followed by a format of the new one, once installed, equals 465/500gb of HDD space, ready to be consumed by all the great content on the PSN.
I've had no problems with load speeds, read times and other such "reported" problems. Every game I own and have purchased works 100% and all of my old content restored from backup without a hitch. This user purchased this item from us.

Awesome for PS3, ish
A thing to consider with a new hard drive for PS3 is whether to quick format or full format. A quick format on a new drive, in my experience, doesn't seem to make the system very stable for long periods of time, so I opt for full. I had a 250GB Scorpio before and that took 16hrs, it was also a slightly quicker drive than the Samsung. I know the PS3 format utility is slow (30hrs for Samsung) but the drive real estate makes it worthwhile. This user purchased this item from us.
