Featuring the new Indilinx ECO controller, the Falcon II SSD can be perfectly matched with the latest 34nm NAND flash memory, which has a greater data density for a positive impact on affordability for the customer. Along with a large 64MB DRAM cache and specialized controller design, the Falcon II SSD provides the ideal, stutter free stability and long life through advanced wear leveling algorithms.

Perfect drive for a netbook!
I have installed it on my Asus eee 1000he with Windows7 and 1Gb stock RAM.
My system boots in 59s, it takes 27s for the logon to show. It shuts down in 9s. Microsoft Office Word loads in 8s.
I have installed Panda Cloud Antivirus to prevent a start up slowdown and 70 other programs. There is a tiny sign of lagging after I've applied the tweaks I found on G Skill forums to prolong the ssd drive's lifespam. You might call me ambitious since this drive comes with a Trim support.
I've read a great deal of reviews and the benchmarks for the 4K and 512K were much better compared to others similarly priced ssd drives.
My results with CrystalDiskMark 3.0 Beta2
read Mb/s Seq: 123.1, 512K: 105.1, 4K:13.62, 4K QD32: 27.05
write Mb/s Seq: 99.66, 512K: 106,2, 4K:7.96, 4K QD32: 8.02
AS SSD Benchmark:
Read Mb/s Seq:117.20, 4K:13.74, 4K-64Thrd:25.89, Acc.time: 0,265ms, score: 51
Write Mb/s Seq:106.14, 4K:7.40, 4K-64Thrd:7.26, Acc.time: 0,537ms, score: 25
tot score: 109
I'd definately recommend G.Skill Falcon II!

Awesome drive
After an exchange with no fuss from memoryc, thanks guys. Have installed this as my boot drive on a win 7 pro x64, and does it make the os fast, And it is controlling another 2 sata 2 drives in a raid 1 configuration, And yes you can get win 7 on 1 of these, it only takes up 17 gb, so giving plenty of space for swap files and disaster recovery. Well worth the investment. But one as soon as you can, you will not be diappointed.
