Solid feel

I am surprised how solid and good looking
this cooler is. 8 bright blue lights and
a little switch to select between slow
and fast. I have an open case and there
is hardly any sound from the fans on slow.
I can hear them on fast, but I`m not shure
if I could if I had a closed case. Slow is
more than enough for my OC`ed G.Skill
PC2-9600 Ripjaws @2.08v. The cooler is
wide enouch to cool 6 RAM sticks. I use it
with DDR2, so I only have 4 sticks to cool.

I had the Corsair CMXAF2 but found it too noisy so ordered this as a replacement. It fits securely over the memory modules (covering all six sockets) and is virtually inaudible when set to low speed (built in switch). It's only slight louder when set to high speed (certainly quieter than the Corsair) and provides good air flow in both modes. The blue LED's look good and overall it's a great product for keeping your memory cool.

I'm using this on my AMD 955BE rig and I'm pleased to say that it fits neatly over my extra-tall OCZ Reaper DDR3 RAM.
It does a good job of cooling .

Apart from the installation being somewhat of a trial, the OCZ XTC Cooler 2 is an excellent item.. I use this on my xfx 780i though the cooler sits very close to my CPU cooler it works very well and isnt very loud at all, it also looks great with the 2 blue LED fans ..
