A-Data quickly emerged as one of the world’s largest flash product and memory providers. When it was created in 2001 by Mr. Simon Chen, the Chairman and CEO of the company, A-Data manufactured only memory products. The market proved to be very lucrative and because of this A-Data decided to expand its range of products: it started to produce multimedia solutions and Flash peripherals.
The decision proved to be a wise one as A-Data currently ranks on the 2nd place in the world for DRAM modules and on the 4th one for Flash Drives. A-data has also received various prestigious awards since its creation: the National Silver Award of Excellence in Taiwan, the G-MARK award in Japan, CES Innovations Award in the US and in Germany the iF Design award and Reddot design award.
This is truly impressive giving the fact that 6 years ago when the company was created it had only 20 employees. The company became recognized worldwide thanks to its professionalism and to the superior quality of its products.
A-Data increases its profit and revenue every year and this is accomplished thanks to Mr. Chen’s vastly experience in the domain. The company managed to make a profit even when the rest of the companies in the domain were struggling and Mr. Chen is very proud of this accomplishment. Ranking higher and higher in the charts maybe the company will soon manage to accomplish its original task: to be the leading brand in the domain.
