The SuperTalent SATA Mini 2 PCIe SSD is an upgrade module specifically designed to be a drop in replacement for the ASUS Eee PC S101,900, 900A, and 901 netbook PCs. The modules are simple and easy to install for immediate capacity and performance benefits.
These modules are the fastest SATA Mini PCIe SSDs available in the market today. Delivering over 5x the performance of the original Eee PC SSDs. These products also make excellent high performance small form factor products for embedded system designers.
The 32GB MLC based product features sequential read speeds up to 150 MB/s and sequential write speeds up to 100 MB/s. The MLC drives come with Super Talent’s 2 year warranty.

In order for this product to work, the following BIOS versions (or later) must be installed on the ASUS EEE netbook:

Great upgrade for Asus EEE PC 900/901
My original Asus SSD packed up as others have found and I suspect it was made to a price, rather than quality in mind.
I choose Super Talent over all other SSD drives, because of the positive reviews and was put off the many negative reviews of the RunCore.
The following results may help others that have a Asus EEE PC.
* Boot Windows 7 is 35 seconds to welcome screen, with 11 startup programs.
* Shutdown Windows 7 takes 12 seconds.
* Can play 720p Youtube and movie videos (previously no)
* Sequential read 130mb/s and sequential write is 45mb/s.
* Google Chrome, time to load 2 tab web pages, 10 seconds.
The following tip is a contentious issue, but can help preserve SSD drive life span and requires a Windows setting to change. It eliminates excessive writing memory to the SSD.
Right click "my computer"/properties/advanced system settings/performance settings/advanced and in virtual memory/change, uncheck automatically manage and set paging file to "no paging file" (requires a windows reboot)
