It dose not seem matter whit Toshiba they just work. my expectation is that I will get 2 to 4 years on this drive with no fuss. And I tell clients that if they get over 18mts out of any product with 2yr warrant their are doing well, if the get three yrs their doing they are on the pigs back. but if that drive is in a laptop they must have a backup drive handy. backup once a month and your data will be save. as back drives go I would buy Transend 1tb,2tb,4tb the best in the game look after y our BU drive and will look after you I have being using Trensend for 12 - 15 yrs only I failed ,sent it back and it came back as a new pin.
