The Apple 85W MagSafe 2 Power Adapter is made specifically for your 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display. It's held in place magnetically, so if someone should trip over it, the cord disconnects harmlessly and your notebook stays put safely.
When the connection is secure, an LED located at the head of the DC connector lights up; an amber light lets you know that your notebook is charging, while a green light tells you that you have a full charge.

The adaptor came very promptly and I am very satisfied with the level of service. Because I had paid for a next-day delivery, which didn't happen, I rang Customer Services & spoke to a very pleasant lady who offered to refund me the extra cost of speedy delivery .. on checking my bank account in the next few days the refund had already come in! Full marks to Memory C for efficiency.
