Shipping services to Russia suspended

Attention all customers in Russia!

It has come to our attention that Customs in Russia are refusing people and companies to import products from the European Union at the moment. The only exception is Russian companies who have a valid import licence.

As a result, with immediate effect, all our shipping services to Russia have been suspended as we are unable to deliver the products to their destination in Russia.

If you are working for a Russian company with a valid import licence you are still welcome to order from us – but please confirm in writing that you have access to a valid import license.

Any feedback from customers in Russia is very welcome – we are finding it hard to obtain the correct guidelines from Customs in Russia at the moment, so if any of you know the new rules – please tell us!

Thank you for your understanding

  1. From 01 July 2010 new Customs rules for our Customs Union (Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus). New import limit(both for regular postal services and express companies – Dhl and other) is 1000 Euro and 31 kg for one month.

  2. I don’t think you understand. He is asking you to use the state mail service, as it has a better chance of being accepted by the russian authorities. If you use a private enterprise company (fedex, dhl etc), then you will more than likely encounter a problem.

Just send it the Russia using your state mail carrier.
    Hope this helps.

  3. Hi,
We have spoken to various shipping companies today, and they all confirm that for some areas of Russia they are currently not able to ship anything.
Perhaps you can give me your postcode and we can check with DHL if they can ship to that location?

  4. Good day.
I still have the desire to buy your product. You wrote that you return packets back. UPS, DHL, and Fedex – a transportation company, they may have problems with delivery to Russia? I chose delivery “Registered Post” – a delivery by regular mail. I wrote about this situation at a major forum http://www.ebay-forum.ru, and all buyers were surprised by your statement that you refuse to deliver to Russia. Can I order a product, delivery by regular mail?
You can send an order from the regular post office?
Sorry for bad English. (I use the electronic translator)
    Many thanks
    Valery.

  5. Thank you very much for your feedback.
Problem from our point of view is that we have had almost 150 packages returned to us via post, UPS, DHL, and Fedex – all state the reason as “importer does not have a valid import license”.
However, we have not been able to verify this with the Russian authorities so we are unsure how to proceed.
Perhaps I can get you to email us directly with some details on your other purchases and we will then try to talk to the other suppliers to work things out for you.
    Many thanks
