This 16GB DDR3 G.Skill Ares Series Dual channel memory kit is made up of two matched 8GB DDR3 memory modules. PC3-12800 memory, 1600MHz with timings of CL9 (9-9-9-24), 1.5V. Low profile memory modules (height of 33mm / 1.30 inches) with new style Ares Blue heatsinks. Intel XMP ready.

Compatible across a wide range of AMD and Intel based motherboards. This memory kit consists of two individually tested 8GB DDR3 1600MHz memory modules.

My PC takes a maximum of 16GB RAM at 1600MHz. It is now the best it can be. Massive improvement to video and art work processing times compared with the 4GB RAM that was bundled with the original unit.
I was an idiot not to max the RAM out sooner
