Actually installed this drive on a SATA 2 port 0. Drive came with the latest firware installed so no updates needed. BIOS recognised drive correctly took 10 mins to install Windows 7 and I was up and running. I put my OS and Rift MMORPG on this drive and it made a significant improvement to the response of the game and boot times. Overall very happy with the product. For the price it would be nice of the drive came with a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter but I guess that would be asking for too much

What could I say? Incredibly fast with old motherboards (IP35pro core2) and even faster with sata3!
