Good product at a great price

Can't fault this product one bit, does exactly what it says on the tin. Obviously there are faster SSD drives available, but at less the €1 per GB, I won't complain about the the speed from this device. I bought it to run my operating system on (Windows 7 x64) & definitely notice a big improvement in boot times, applications generally open faster also. I haven't really bothered with much testing as it's done what I needed first time & I've had no problems with it so far (running for about 2 weeks now). My Windows Experience Index for the Primary Hard Disk test has jumped from 5.9 on my old SATA disk to 7.2 using the OCZ Petrol SSD.....can't get much than that for the price! As always MemoryC.com provided an excellent service in terms of price & delivery :)

After Using the drive for two weeks now.
I only can say the drive work great.
It is super fast,not comparable like an normal harddisk.
The boot time is triple of an normal spinning drive.
Also programs and cames work alot faster to.Transformer on an normal harddisk was arond 25 sec to start screen.with the petrol drive 7 sec
I also use the petrol 64 to put on my backups.
In windows index I got 5.1 score with harddisk and 7,7 with petrol drive.
So far I can see in the petrol toolbox everything work great,have zero bad sectors,and live time is stil on 100%
the drive is easy to instal (check bios)before installation.
and use the drive on sata port 1
All with all an exelent drive :p

Replaced my standard HD with this SSD. Connection and installation was simple. Accepted Win7 OS first time and wow my boot up speed is just crazy. Programmes and games are just on fire. Crysis, Fear 3 and Call of Duty MW3 have tripled in bott up and performance. This is a first class product, so I purchased a second after a week of testing. Thanks you so much MemoryC.

Now that an ample amount of time has elasped. I have to say that initially I was very pleased with these SSD's. I purchased a second one. Since then I RMA back the first and in the process od RMA back the second. It seems that there is a flaw on this batch or model and the returns to the manufacturer are high.

Lost allot of valuable data and backing up on a daily basis is just not expected especially with new drives. I cannot in good faith recommend this model for a long time durability.
