Great addition to eee 901. Pricy but makes a great difference. If you're not worried about too much space and use you 901 for basic web applications this memory will speed up the system to run like a normal laptop, but without the problematic 4gb space shortage. Running Windows 7 beta without problems and Office 2007.

I ordered this SSD on Wednesday and it arrive in Germany on Friday! Thanks for the fast shipping.
The SSD runs very fine. First I connected it via USB to do some partition cloning. I noticed that there was already a 16GB partition on the RunCoreSSD with the setup of Acronis True Image on it. So I used that for cloning ... Thanks for that service.
Having finished the cloning process I put the SSD into my EEE 900A which was very easy with the included screwdriver.
The speed of the new SSD is very good. Its faster than the stock 8GB SSD. Having read some reviews about the stock 8GB SSD I was really surprised that ATTO Disk Benchmark was showing ~75MB/s read and 20MB/s write speed for the 8GB SSD (maybe I have got a very new model of the 900A because it also had the latest BIOS installed). But thats slower than the RunCore SSD ...
I'm very happy with the speed of the new RunCore SSD, so its worth the money!

Makes the Eee PC 900a a whole different machine!

This upgrade makes a night and day difference to the 900a. Installing programs and running them is now a breeze. Most importantly though, windows no longer freezes while the disk is being written to. This means no more annoying waiting while the disk is accessed.

All in all, a necessary upgrade for the 900a.

Easy to install and, most important, FAST. No more lags, Windows XP is now a normal OS compared to the original SSD, it's fast and ready when I want to open a windows or do something.
