This was my first SSD buy and boy am I glad I did my research. One simply must opt for a drive with an Indilinx Barefoot controller or Samsung. If the latter their is no TRIM support, a feature which most shoppers forget about.

Performance in my experience has simply been awesome, topping the 2x 300GB WD VelociRaptors I had in RAID 0 on an Intel on board ICH10R controller.

Great service from MemoryC. I'm using this Falcon as an OS drive, with 2 750gb samsung F1's for storage. Can't fault it, runs a lot lot faster than rotational HD's.

I do not make reviews but it has to be said. This product is the best, perfect thing for my laptop. It really makes the difference, not RAM or CPU but Falcon!!! Not cheap but worth every penny. If you have the money you have to by it, if you don't then earn it and then by it!!!!!

This is an excellent drive, exactly the same internals as the OCZ Vertex but comes with the latest firmware already on the drive. Mine is giving better than stated reads/writes 250/195mb/s. No stuttering and everything is much faster and much more responsive. Probably the best upgrade ive ever made for overall system performance!

terrific product, running smooth on windows 7. the indilinx controller is the same great chip mounted on vertex and performances are very similar. only this is cheaper.

Real competitor for OCZ Vertex series

It uses same controller (Indilinx Barefoot) with 64 MB Cache as OCZ Vertex driver. Cache and Indilinx firmware 1370 improves the random write shuttering issue which plagued OCZ vertex drives initially had. It is cost positioned better than OCZ vertex. So when cost/GB is considered this is better than OCZ Vertex.
