My old 72,000 HDD sounded like a washing machine loaded with marbles and large ball bearings. This new 5,400rpm drive is slower (on paper), but it is near-silent and runs 6°C cooler, than the Seagate it replaces. It's too soon to tell if this drive is worth 5 stars - that extra star is reserved for reliability.

Service from MemoryC was exemplary, the delivery very quick - almost overnight. To me MemoryC has a very well implemented web shop in general.
