Having a HP 8540W with 8Gb ram, my existing setup was no slow PC. However the disk seemed to be the slow spot and I was running out of space on my old 320Gb WD3200BEKT was full from mutiple VMs.

I used W7 backup and restore to keep all my data and just extended to make use of the extra space.

The boot time is in the region of 60% quicker and that alone is worth the price. So far I am just delighted with it... really great speed increase for so little cost.

Firstly i ordered my Momentus XT on the Friday and received it on the Monday, what a great delivery service!!!

I received my "Momentus XT" and installed it into my laptop straight away. I had a short time ago done a clean install on a Seagate 5400rpm HDD so I had a basis for comparason.

On instilation of Win7 Ultimute x64 on my new XT HDD I could see a very noticeable increase in the speed of the installation from the start.

Once installed I ran some tests on both hard drives (mostly file transfers of .avi files and software).

After the tests, I had calculated that I have gotten a 76.19% increase in file transfer speed, so I can confirm that the advertised 80% faster drive is quite an accurate number.

In conclusion I can 100% say that I am happy with the performance, price and overall service.
