Details
External HDD docking station with 2 drive bays. Supports 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA or IDE/PATA hard drives (1 slot for SATA / 1 slot for IDE). With One Touch Backup, easy cloning and copying of hard drives. Built-in memory card reader and USB hub. Connects to any PC via USB2.0 or e-SATA.

Supports SATA hard drives up to 2TB capacity.

This docking station is an ideal way of backing up hard drives, or to be used when migrating data from one computer to another, or to test and format hard drives.

Includes OTB (One Touch Backup) button along with USB cable, power adapter and cable. Free software that may be useful for creating backups can be downloaded here.

Dual-bay docking station, allowing two separate hard drive to be connected at the same time. Each drive will show up in Windows as a separate drive letter.

With integrated memory card reader and USB hub. USB hub adds two extra USB ports to connect any USB device, like mouse, keyboard or similar.

Poor quality

Very poor build quality. All plastic, which isn't bad, but it's so light and I feel like it's going to break as soon as I touch it.
One of the front USBs was used once. After that I couldn't plug anything in as the USB got pushed way inside the device itself.

Worked fine with a 2TB WD Green hdd, no issues there.

Works great for SATA but sort of flaky for PATA drives. Majority of my needs are SATA so it's not a big deal to me. Maybe I am doing something incorrectly. This device is stable and fits coveniently on my computer rack. I like the I/O switch too.

It worked, about three times then the mini USB port in the rear of the unit became detached from the PCB inside, I tool a peek and reset it, seemed like it was glued on, but it didn't work after that!
When it did work the IDE drive was difficult to slot in ok. Very flimsy construction.

Had a little trouble at the beginning before I spotted that the IDE drive slot power adaptor was on a slide and it was wrongly set-up for my drive but once that was sorted it has been plain sailing.
The build quality isn't the strongest (flimsy would be too strong a word) but for the average user it would be fine, good for ocasional use but not for PROs or SYS ADMINS needing to image disks daily.

Overall positive impression even given its failings.

Pros :
1. One touch button backup cloning of any HDD (IDE SATA) I threw in it. Quick and easy. All in 1 was recognised automatically in XP.
2. Handy USB Hub : I dont need to struggle to reach the back of my tower to plug my external HDs anymore.
3. e-sata interface.

Cons :
1. Inserting IDE HDD into its slot was no easy task. Plastic does feel a bit cheap and I was worried I was going to break the connector if I pushed too hard. Surely they must have miscalculated the space between the connector and power. It just wont take any of my IDE drives.

2. No manual. There is a cloning software that you can install if you get the sticker with the serial in your bundle. Mine came without it. I found one online so no worries but why was it missing in my bundle. And why did I find instructions for a Sat Nav instead.

Amazing device

Really good investment, ideal for testing and re-building hard drives for my customers' laptops and desktops. Simply slot the HDD in and it can be read via this docking station. Highly recommended!
