This is a great device. Fits the MacBook 2020 M1 perfectly.
Pity there isn't a 512 or 1TB as its a super easy way to upgrade your macbook storage.
Can run Paralleles VMs from this also with no degradation in speed

I am well happy with this little expansion card. As a card that is purpose designed and built for my specific model of MacBook Pro it just sits there so neatly and I don't bother removing it.
I had been using and external USB drive for certain files and for two Parallels Virtual Machines (Windows and Solus OS Linux) but now I run these from the card. I live the card in all the time and don't have to bring the external drive with me.

Fit's perfectly in macbook retina 13. I'm using it to store media and larger files as I'm out of space on the laptop itself. It's ideal for that. Happy enough with transfer speed. Mainly delighted to have an extra 128gb space and that it just worked straight away.

Im really amazed with this little SD card. So fast, it delivers what they promise. Advertised as 95MB/s read and 60MB/s Writing and I'm getting extremely close to that! So its much faster then a mechanical hard drive or a usb hard drive. You plug this in and you can forget about it as its designed / tailor made for your device. A++ This is a must for your Macbook.
note: card is EXFAT formatted but i had no issues re-formatting it to Mac Journaled for better OS X performance.
