I bought this to expand my storage capacity. It worked right out the box and it works as a second hard drive. I notice no difference in speed compared to my internal storage. I play music and full HD movies from it with no problem. I have following results for the speed test Reading: 82.101 MB/s and Writing 65.315 MB/s

Industry standard capacity for a 128GB memory flash card is 128,000,000,000 bytes. The Silicon Power Elite I received had a maximum capacity of 125,795,565,568 bytes. So I'm short of 2.05GB with this micro sd unit. With a USB 3.0 connection it tested a max of 20MB/s write and 78MB/s read. It came preformatted in exfat and was fully functional when installed in a Lumia 640 Windows phone. Decided to keep it because of the lifetime warranty.
