Time will tell, but this device looks promising. It feels solidly made and the price was good. I'm hoping it will be useful for a reasonably long time. I can't verify the capacity (4000mAh), but it looks reasonably likely. (I wouldn't even think about this, but I am replacing a Fuel brand "2000mAh" device whose internal battery I extracted and found to be labelled 1250mAh. I expect/hope NGS is more straightforward.)
The built-in flashlight is rather feeble and I'm not a fan of the long press system for switching it both on and off. (I'll probably continue to use the Fuel unit for preference as a flashlight, though not as a charger.)
The only real niggle I have is with the supplied USB cable. This is wired for power only - no data connection - and that's all that is needed, but it's really nasty to have a collection of more or lesss identical cables some with data wiring and some without. It's time suppliers started marking these power-only cables in some way. This one has the standard USB logo on both connectors, which should assure compliance with the USB standard - surely an abuse of the symbol.
