Surprisingly, a new laptop with 8GB ram will still struggle with basic tasks, such as: multitasking (which is the whole point of a computer).

I prefer to balance MHz with Latency which is why I went from the stock Kingston 8GB 3200MHz 21CL to Ripjaws 8GBx2 3000MHz CL16.

Certainly saw improvements in boot time and gaming performance, alongside other general multitasking.
