The U444-06N-DP4K6B USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C to DisplayPort 4K External Video Adapter (M/F) displays audio/video on a 4K DisplayPort monitor, projector or television via your computer, laptop, smartphone or tablet’s USB-C or Thunderbolt™ 3 port. It’s an ideal tool for multitasking, editing documents, giving presentations at trade shows and conferences, or watching movies and playing video games.
This adapter works with USB-C devices that support USB DisplayPort Alternate Mode for video (sometimes referred to as Alt Mode). Devices include Apple MacBooks, select Chromebooks, such as the Pixel, and Dell XPS models 15 and 13. The U444-06N-DP4K6B is also compatible with Thunderbolt™ 3 ports, as well as DisplayPorts.
No software, drivers or external power supply is needed. Connect the USB-C plug to the USB-C or Thunderbolt™ 3 port on your source device. Then, connect the DisplayPort to a display device using a DisplayPort cable (such as Tripp Lite’s P580-Series) to enjoy full video and audio.
The U444-06N-DP4K6B supports Ultra High Definition (UHD) video resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 (4K x 2K) at 60 Hz, 24-bit Deep Color (8 bits per channel) and 7.1-channel surround sound audio. The slim, durable housing is designed to store in your backpack or laptop bag for use wherever you go.
