RunCore Pro IV 1.8" ZIF SSD is designed for laptop, handheld PC. The product adopts advanced flash controller and NAND flash, contains the cache size of up to 64MB with a higher performance in read/write rate than mechanism hard drive. Furthermore, its characteristics of low power consumption and anti-vibration are obvious.

1.8" ZIF SSD as standard PATA driver, which supports all major operating systems such as Windows 9X/Me/NT/XP/CE/Vista/Windows7, MAC, Linux and Unix, Solaris, Vxworks. With no moving parts and seek time, 1.8" ZIF SSD does not need to spin up into action or to seek files in the way that traditional hard disk drives do - enabling it to work much faster. It supports capacity from 16GB to 128GB with maximum transfer rate as high as 85MB/s. Therefore, it is an ideal storage device for commercial users' mobile PC.

Runcore ProIV SSD for Dell D420

Excellent product. Windows XP boots in <40seconds on Dell D420. No included cloning software came with it, so I used Minitools disk to disk copy wizard to clone the old HDD. This utility takes care of alignment as well. With Runcore SSD my old Dell now launces applications faster than most newer laptops equipped with mechanical drives.

Fast delivery.
Installed the SSD in a Archos 9 and that made all the difference in the world.
Programs are starting quickly and scrolling now goes smoothly.
Only the software in the package was not Acronis Migrate Easy for PC but the much larger Backup software Acronis backup and recovery.
If so download the fully working 15 days Migrate and you disk will be ready within a few minutes.
4 stars, just because the software wasn't there.
For Archos users, highly recommended.

Good service from MemoryC, 1st Disk faulty, this one, great!! Installed on my Dell Latitude D430 last night and boy does it boots faster, resumes faster, generally browses faster and plays video with no lag from disc. Had to use Macrium Reflex as supplied software did not work. Battery seems so far tp last about 20 minutes more, so that is a bonus. All in all very happy with this product and service received.

Great little drive if you are looking to squeeze a few more years out of your Dell D430 (UK model for us). Tried installing exact drive in a D430 1-2 years ago and it didn't work. Make sure you install the latest Dell D430 BIOS to avoid issues. I am ordering another four of these today.

i installed this SSD on a DELL D430 and it runs so fast now !
HDD Win7 clone was finally done using Macrium Reflect i.o. TrueImage (included with the SSD) which were not able to finalise the cloning properly (4 attenpts !...)
I have to admit this SSD improved all the performances of my laptop, from the OS staring time to WEB navigation, videos fluidity etc...
MemoryC shipment to France is very very fast. Thanks !
