16GB Adata SDHC Flash Memory Card CL6 |
I have a Dell latitude X1 which has a built in SD slot but only a 30 Gb hard drive. I use it as a dual boot Mint Linux/Windows XP machine and was running out of disc space for XP. The card arrived in less than 24 hours after my purchase. I installed it and at the same time upgraded XP to SP3 (SP2 won't recognise SD cards in excess of 4 Gb) and the system immediately recognized the card. I have effectively prolonged the life of this lightweight portable by 1 year for just over €50. An excellent product. Reviewed by Paul Ryan on August 11th 2008, 12:34 PM |

Great offer |
I was browsing for a card for my new camera (Canon EOS 450D), and checked MemoryC for the best offer. My last order was for RAM for my Mac, and since I was happy with that purchase I decided to try MemoryC again.
The card arrived just in time for my vacation, and during the past 8 days I have taken about 2000 photos. My 12.1 megapixel camera takes 3.5 pics pr second, the card has no problem keeping up with that. Nor is it a problem to brows through hundreds of pictures really quickly by holding the browse button down. Transferring the pictures to my computer is also quick and smooth.
I have dropped the card onto a solid floor twice, without loosing any data.
Great card, at a great price! Reviewed by Pål Magne Austnes on July 2nd 2008, 07:55 PM |
