Transport from Dublin/Ireland to Zvolen/Slovakia was within 24 hour!!! Excelent.
Regarding my idea to use it in X41Tablet I'm facing the problem that IBM doesn't allow me to use this disk (requires firmware update).
More of this, I don't know, how to move original hidden partition to new disk.
Can you help me?

Works well with IBM X41 tablet

Just placed into my IBM x41 tablet and works out of the box. The computer beeps twice on boot up but it works. It really speeds up the system.

Even though delivered via regular mail outside EU and had to be taxed the drive arrived within 4 days.

The drive works good in my Thinkpad x41 tablet. Feels like a new notebook, except for a bootup delay because of an unrecognized drive firmware. This is more a check by the BIOS to ensure compatibility with thinkpad active protection etc.

You get netbook with the best keyboard!

Thinkpad X40 and X41 original hard disks are notoriously slow. You get a total makeover with this SSD from Kingspec, and as Thinkpads have great keyboards, you can consider yourself as owner of netbook with best available keyboard!

However, JMicron controller has its weaknesses exposed when disk gets full. Hopefully some day there will be firmware upgrade.

I ordered my unit from MemoryC, and it arrived in New Zealand only a few days later. The SSD has given new life to my beloved Thinkpad X40; it runs much faster, quieter, and I now have more disk capacity as well. No issues at all running Linux.

I bought it for my IBM X41T as replacement, absolutely amazed so far

Speed tests:
ubuntu 9.04 : sequential read 77 MB/sec
Mac Os X 10.5.6 : read 79 MB/sec write 54 MB/sec
Windows 7: read 69 MB/sec write 46 MB/sec

Important!!!
Tweak each Os to minimize disk writes for better lifetime of the SSD and to optimize speed performance
