Installed Windows 7 64-bit. 60GB is more than enough when using audit mode installation to place my documents on another drive. (Also, page file and temp folders moved off to another drive). Windows now runs EXTREMELY fast; all the general stuff (booting up, file explorer, launching applications etc) now run much much faster than before.

Fantastic option for clean re-install of Windows.

Only (small) downside is no bracket for 3.5" drive bays (I had a spare).

The hard drive is supposed to be connected to 6 Mbps SATA while my motherboard only supports 3 Mbps; still, the drive is blazingly fast. The time from POST to login screen is some 6 seconds now (almost a minute on a modern traditional drive). Physical transfers are around 170-190 MB/s which is amazing. My 4-years old PC got new wings!

put this in a netbook, thing boots in 14 seconds, would recommend for running an OS on it. really quick. (ps Running Ubuntu 11.01)
