This SATA III M.2 SSD is manufactured by Transcend, one of the world leaders in memory and storage products. The MTS820 M.2 NGFF SSD is suitable for many ultrabooks, tablets and other compact devices where space is at a premium.
And just because this is an ultra-compact SSD, it does not mean it does not perform just as well as larger SSDs - in fact, with the SATA III 6Gbps interface it can achieve read speeds up to 560MB/sec and write speeds up to 510MB/sec.
The MTS820 SSD is an 80mm form factor SSD, built using premium 3D TLC NAND chips for optimum performance and reliability. Added features include DevSleep mode, S.M.A.R.T., TRIM, NCQ, and Power Shield.
