Details

This Screw Kit is a mounting system for back-plate type Scythe CPU Coolers to provide compatibility with the LGA 2011 socket (Socket R) of Intel's new Sandy Bridge-E generation. Due to increased temperature in Sandy Bridge-E processors, Scythe recommends the use of the following models: Mugen 3, Mine 2, Ninja 3, Susanoo, Mugen 2 Rev. B, Big Shuriken 2. The LGA 2011 Screw Kit is only for Scythe back-plate CPU cooler models.

Compatibility
By using the Scythe Screw Kit for Intel LGA 2011, all current Scythe coolers hitherto attached with a original Scythe back-plate can be mounted to Intel LGA 2011 socket (socket R) - back-plate. Secure mounting of your CPU cooler is provided by four fixing screws. Due to high TDP characteristics of LGA 2011 processors.
